How hard would you fight if you only had a sliver of hope?
Elijah Stacy suffers from Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a fatalmuscle-wasting disease. At the age of sixteen, to avoid agonizingsurgery, he had to endure enough physical therapy to change theshape of his spine. It had never been done before, but still, hisdoctor gave him a small “if.”
In A Small If, Elijah shares thirteen lessons he’s learned throughout his life’s journey of losing his ability to walk, getting bullied in school, losing his brother Max to Duchenne, and learning that his other brother has the same disease.
Elijah explains how to overcome extreme suffering by developing an adapter’s mindset, understanding what it means to controlsomething rather than influencing it, and using other people’s negative energy as the ultimate motivation.
Amid his various commitments, Elijah makes time to study the Word of God and hosts a weekly bible study for people his age (although anyone is welcome). He’s passionate about growing his faith and sharing it with others. With regards to his health, he says, “my suffering has a purpose, and I believe God will use this for His good.”
Today, Elijah’s mission to minimize human suffering and propel human prosperity is fueling his ambition to cure his disease. He’s been told he has less than ten years to live, but he’s faced long odds before.
Sometimes, all you need is A Small If.

Becca Jordan In Her Own Words:
I'm a wandering songbird. I earned my B.A. in Communications from University in Alabama-Huntsville. It was during college doing all that writing that I started dabbling in songwriting.  I recorded my first EP, Love Shows Up, in 2012 with Robbie Seay producing.
I moved to Nashville in 2015, worked at a non-profit, started singing in church and absorbing the creative community through concerts and coffee dates with fellow creatives. I traveled to L’Abri in England in the fall of 2016, where I soaked up the reality that the Lord is Lord over all things, stuff like cooking and washing dishes, not just mysterious creative processes like songwriting. I came back to Nashville to plant some roots and started working with the elderly.  (Not on purpose, really, but because God has a sense of humor. I needed to learn some things I could only learn with them.) So I spent four years learning and observing the goodness of God in what felt like a quiet corner with folks that taught me what it meant to place my whole life before God as an offering. This is what my record, Becoming Ordinary, is about— leaving behind all the illusions of what I thought my life would be, and picking up what it is— mundane, sometimes deeply lonely, sometimes fraught with joy, and mostly just very ordinary— and giving it to God.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter and worship leader Stephen McWhirter and GRAMMY® and Stellar-nominated recording artist Jason Clayborn have joined forces for Highest Praise, a rousing celebration of soul-drenched worship bowing October 8 from Lula Street Records (Integrity Music). The nine-track live studio set pairs the duo’s impassioned lead vocals with classic rock, Motown, Gospel, and contemporary worship moments.  Produced and co-written by McWhirter, Highest Praise also features eight selections co-penned by Clayborn. The title cut—a Stevie Wonder-meets-Humble Pie groove—is a joyful anthem crossing cultural and musical divides in unified worship. Additional highlights of Highest Praise include the Motown slow-burner “God Be Yourself,” a prayer which clings to His character even in the most difficult circumstances; the modern worship declaration of “Let There Be Love”; and “The Yes Song,” a resounding testament to the promises of God.  Highest Praise follows the duo’s debut collaboration, McWhirter’s 2020 Choir Sessions (feat. Jason Clayborn & The Atmosphere Changers). McWhirter and Clayborn also wrote and recorded the Christmas anthem “Born A King,” which was featured in last year’s Christmas special for the blockbuster television series The Chosen.    Stephen McWhirter is a touring worship leader, producer, speaker and author whose powerful testimony of divine deliverance from addiction is the cornerstone of his ministry platform. A founding member of the former worship collective Iron Bell Music, he is also a songwriter with Essential Music Publishing/Sony PLG and a Lula Street (Integrity Music) recording artist.  Tyscot recording artist Jason Clayborn is a GRAMMY® and Stellar Award nominee and former member of the renowned hip-hop/gospel group The Righteous Riders. He has also toured around the world with numerous artists, including Dr. Ron Kenoly. Most recently, Clayborn and his choir, The Atmosphere Changers, performed at the 2021 Stellar Awards alongside the legendary Bishop Hezekiah Walker.

A documentary film directed by Ryan Patch, For Love of Neighbor: Politics for the Common Good tells the stories of three individuals—Sen. Tim Scott, Justin Giboney, and Sarah Imboden—who, on different levels and in distinct ways, are seeking to engage faithfully in contemporary American politics.
The film does not provide specific answers for how Christians should engage in politics: prescribing who they should vote for or what specific policies they should support. Instead, it explores foundational questions about the purpose (and limits) of politics and the proper Christian posture toward government and secular society.
